I was born in Charlotte, North Carolina but I call Texas home. For nearly 5 years I lived just outside of Austin, Texas. A short time after graduating from what was then called “Southwest Texas State University,” (now called Texas State University at San Marcos) I moved to Jupiter, Florida where I began my golf professional career. I was a member of the golf professional staff at Old Palm Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens under the supervision of Raymond Floyd. During my tenure at Old Palm Golf Club I was fortunate to advise and learn from touring professionals on mini-tours, PGA tour, LPGA tour, and Champions tour. I have attended teaching seminars conducted by the local section of the PGA of America which had “Top 100 Instructors” such as Jim McLean, Bill Davis, and Martin Hall as key note speakers. I am currently an associate member in the PGA of America. |

My goal as a teacher is to provide knowledge and instruction in a manner which is conducive to the student’s learning style. By achieving this goal the student will progress and achieve his/her goals while maintaining motivation and enjoying the game of golf. My teaching philosophy also strives toward making the golf swing more efficient and effective. |
