After years of working with PGA tour-players in our performance labs, our approach is to build the most efficient and simple movement for each golfer. Complicated swings require frequent play for consistent ball-striking on the course – something most of us don’t have time for in today’s busy lifestyle.
High speed video analysis reveals that many of the top players in the world share a common look and function in key points of their swing, even though overall they may have a different style. Specifically, the amount of body rotation, the tilt and bend of the body, the motions of the arms and hands have been honed to an exact science by the world’s top players.
We have developed out teaching philosophy around the ideals that science and physics dictate. Our Tour Averages have helped us study exactly how an efficient golf swing works. Therefore, we can help you understand and build a swing that is truly the best movement for YOUR body! Our goal is to build the most efficient and simple movement for each golfer.
With GolfTEC’s patented SEVA Pro software, your instructor’s expertise, and some diligent work on your part, GolfTEC can help you build a swing that will hold up under pressure and produce great shots for the rest of your golfing career – even when you can’t play often! |
In the first 100 days of opening their doors in Tampa, GolfTEC coached 23 Tampa Bay area residents to their all-time career-best performances. As part of their comprehensive and highly technical approach to improvement, when a student achieves a hole-in-one, wins a tournament, or shoots their career-best score, GolfTEC recognizes that personal best performance by adding their name to the Wall of Fame. They also receive a symbolic Gold Cap, which can't be purchased. It must be earned through record performance.
One “Wall of Famer”, Ken Coffing, was so moved by his experienced that he recapped it in an e-mail, “Five weeks ago when I first came into GolfTEC, Don asked me what my goals were and I think he thought I was joking when I said my handicap was 45 +. Yesterday I shot 20+ strokes below my game. I hit all fairways from the tee box but two. I hit fairway woods 3, 5 and 7 with confidence, loft and straight on line. For the first time in my 44 years of golf…it now became fun!”
